Privacy policy
Effective October 4, 2026. This policy covers the ReStep: Chapter 13 Tracker app and restep.me/us/. Operated by GATEPOP Inc.
Your app records
The app has no account, login, or server that stores your records. Plan details, payment records, case number, notes, checklist items, and settings are stored on your device. ReStep does not upload them.
The app contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools. It does not collect location, advertising identifiers, or biometric data.
Backups and deletion
A backup you export is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from your password with scrypt. You choose where to save or share it. ReStep does not store the password and cannot recover it. The app removes temporary backup copies after sharing or reading a selected file; files you save yourself remain where you put them.
App records are excluded from automatic device backups. Keep a separate password-protected backup before changing phones or removing the app. Delete local records in Settings using Erase all records. Exported files must be deleted separately wherever you saved them.
Device authentication is handled by your operating system. ReStep does not receive or store your fingerprint or Face ID information. Local reminders are scheduled on the device; the app does not use remote push notifications.
Public content downloads
If automatic content updates are on, the app downloads public guides from restep.me/us/data/. Requests do not contain your records, account identifiers, advertising identifiers, or cookies added by the app. You can turn automatic updates off in Settings.
As with other internet requests, the hosting provider receives connection information such as an IP address and request information. Cloudflare delivers this website and the public files and may process connection information for delivery and security. ReStep does not maintain a user database of those requests or download individual access logs.
This U.S. website
These U.S. pages have no analytics tags, advertising, tracking cookies, account registration, or forms. The website follows your device's light or dark appearance.
When you visit restep.me, Cloudflare uses the country associated with your network connection to open the U.S. homepage for U.S. visitors. This does not request your device location or store a location preference in a cookie. ReStep does not store the country used for this redirect.
Support email and outside links
If you email support, your email address and message are processed to answer your request. Do not send case numbers, financial records, backup files, passwords, or other sensitive information. External links you choose to open follow the other site's own privacy practices.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can manage and delete app records on your device. We cannot retrieve or delete records that we do not hold. To ask about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights that may apply to information you send to support, email admin@restep.me. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to target ads.
